Plot summary
The scientist Sergey Kuklin has built an experimental humanoid robot and given him the name Robert. The robot is the exact double of his creator, a twin, and Kuklin's plan is for him to master far space that people cannot reach. To test the robot in a human environment, Kuklin sends him on a date with Tanya, the bride of one of his employees. Tanya teaches Robert to feel, and he falls in love with her. He obeys her orders and understands everything she says literally, so he carries out the tasks she sets him, even ridiculous and dangerous ones.
