- The film's time machine was redesigned by artist, wood sculptor and cartoonist Vyacheslav Pochechuev after a special bureau's version came out as an expressionless computer layout. He built the new one in a few days with a designer, a locksmith and a glassblower, and his 40-ruble prize slip read "for the invention of a time machine."
- The film's time machine was a reject: a bureau-built version came out as a blank computer mock-up, so artist Vyacheslav Pochechuev sketched a new model and built it in days with a designer, a locksmith and a glassblower. His 40-ruble prize certificate read that the money was issued for the invention of a time machine.
