Plot summary
Arthur Bretnik works as a private investigator and discusses conspiracies on a podcast he hosts with his friend Jimmy Cleats. His daughter died in a vehicle accident, and he holds a cover-up responsible. One of the podcast's listeners, Elena Guzman, gets in touch about her daughter Zoe, who died in the small New Mexico town of Wander. Elena believes the death was a murder that was covered up. Bretnik, who is mentally unstable, takes the case and travels to the town, where he meets Sheriff Luis Santiago and tries to look into the death. He becomes convinced that the case is connected to the cover-up behind his daughter's death.
