Plot summary

An Icelandic man in his forties, Fúsi works on the ground staff at a nearby airport and lives with his mother. Miniature wargaming fills his spare time, and his days keep to a routine he knows well. On his forty-second birthday he is enrolled in a dance class, a break from that routine, and it brings him into contact with the world beyond it. He falls in love with Sjöfn, who lives with depression. A young girl named Hera also enters his life, and the bachelor habits of a man long settled in his own ways begin to loosen.
