Freyr's own son, Benni, disappeared while playing hide-and-seek with a friend. In a small abandoned hamlet, Katrin and Garðar, who are recovering from a recent estrangement, with Katrin's friend Líf, renovate a long-abandoned house into a bed and breakfast.
