Plot summary
Helle, princess of Volsung, stands accused of a killing she did not carry out, the murder of her father, King Asmund. She leaves the kingdom behind. Odin, a god, becomes her guide on a journey across the world, and his counsel adds to her wisdom along the way. An army is what winning the throne back requires, and she sets out to gather one.
