Plot summary
Raniero marries Fosca, his second wife, and takes her to Venice, where everything is compared to the perfect first wife he keeps praising. Ivano, a coarse man, marries Jessica, and their wedding journey becomes a tour of discos. The two find they have little left to share and look for ways to meet again. The timid Giovannino and his bride are ready to board a cruise ship when his elderly father, left without his caretaker, needs looking after, and the bride is drawn into her sister's pretense of suicide to get money out of a former boyfriend. The three stories interweave.
