Plot summary
Marcus and Emily are newly married, and so are Ron and Kyla, who arrive at a Caribbean resort with their baby and with Maurillio, who minds the child. Marcus has not told the others his reason for the trip: he wants to interview with the Korean hotel company Kim Wae about building a five-star hotel in Chicago, and the executives are already at the resort ahead of the owner, Mrs. Kim. Ron and Kyla push the couple into a night of drinking, and in the morning Marcus learns his meeting has been moved up. Over drinks, the executive Yeon tells Marcus he is not the first choice for the project. Then Kyla's father, Reese, appears, just out of San Quentin, and clashes with Ron. Reese tells Kyla about an investment in a cryptocurrency called SCOM Coin.
