Plot summary

V/H/S: Viral is an anthology of found-footage horror shorts linked by a frame story. In the frame, Kevin, an amateur videographer, films his girlfriend Iris until an ice cream truck leads police on a chase through his Los Angeles neighborhood; he pursues the truck for footage while Iris vanishes and strange phone images spread. In one segment, trailer park illusionist John McMullen finds a cloak once owned by Harry Houdini and becomes the stage magician Dante the Great. In another, Spanish inventor Alfonso builds an interdimensional portal and meets a duplicate of himself. A third follows Los Angeles skateboarders Jason and Danny, whose videographer Taylor pushes them toward dangerous stunts in Tijuana.
