Plot summary
The men's and women's prison units each have their own daily routines, and baseball and the marching band matter a great deal there. Saint Louis and Dannemora Dan are convicts who befriend a fellow inmate named Steve. Steve is in love with Judy Fields, who is serving time too. Each year the prison plays a baseball game against a rival penitentiary.
