Plot summary
John comes out of a months-long coma with images of intruders in his house and of his wife and daughter being shot. FBI Agent Gorman tells him the man behind it is Luc Deveraux, a former Universal Soldier now wanted, and Gorman has a sleeper agent turned on: a cloned UniSol named Magnus. Deveraux and the surviving UniSol Andrew Scott lead a separatist group that takes in wayward UniSols and turns them against the government, aiming to free the soldiers from the conditioning and implanted memories the government gave them and to build an order led by UniSols.
