Plot summary
Expectant mother Sarah spots an elderly woman with blank eyes staring at her in a restaurant, and the woman keeps appearing at the window and in her dreams. Her partner Simon brushes her fear off as hormones. A visit to the country home of their friends Melissa and Dustin, who have an interest in the occult, leads Melissa to take Sarah seriously while Simon and Dustin stay unconvinced. In the same community, Rachel shares her house with Masha, an impulsive young woman who believes she will inherit her grandmother's supernatural powers. When Masha brings a man home and the encounter turns violent, Rachel forces him out.
