Plot summary
Lucy Jacobs is a university freshman, and the Thanksgiving break takes her home to the small town she came from. She suspects her high school sweetheart is about to turkey drop her, which is to say dump her. She wants to head that off rather than let it happen over the holiday. So she gets out of her comfort zone, acting unlike the play-it-safe girl she once was.
