Plot summary
Robin Adams and her friend Monica slip away from the Adams house on Christmas Eve to meet mutual friends at a party. On a snowy country road, a pair of fugitives, Mongo and Louis "Face" Napoleon, stop the women and force them into the car with Randy Carter, an inmate they have brought along from the penitentiary. Randy is made to drive, and in a wooded area the car runs off the road and slams into an abandoned mine shaft. Mongo is gravely hurt, the car blows up, and the shaft mouth caves in. Sheriff Billy Williams comes looking for the escapees and finds nothing. At a house near the mine, Rachel invites him inside. In the tunnels below, the trapped group is hunted by a cannibalistic killer.
