Plot summary
DeShawn is a rapper with talent and no breakthrough, so he takes work as a runner in the drug trade. A song he records spreads online, and the attention arrives just as the police charge him over that work. Prosecutors offer him a choice: take the stand against the dealer he answered to, or stay silent and serve a prison term. Threats follow from the criminal underworld, and a local pastor offers him guidance.
