Plot summary
Prince John's right-hand man, the Sheriff of Nottingham, arranges a tax money transport through Sherwood Forest as a trap for Robin Hood and his Merry Men, with his henchcat Tom beside him. Jerry, Robin's companion, carries a warning, and the outlaws seize the gold instead. Reviewing the failure with Prince John, the Sheriff decides that Robin relies on Jerry to ferry messages to a contact inside the castle, and orders Tom to catch the mouse. That night Robin sends Jerry to the castle with a love poem for Maid Marian, where Tom is keeping her company and tries to stop the mouse.
