Plot summary
Lara Jean Song Covey travels to Seoul for spring break with her sisters, Margot and Kitty, her father, Dan, and their neighbor Trina Rothschild. There she looks for a lock her mother once left on a bridge to mark her love for Dan. Home again, she tells Peter Kavinsky, her boyfriend, that they never had a meet-cute, though he remembers their first meeting clearly, and with no song of their own, he starts brainstorming ideas. Lara Jean waits on her Stanford University application, hoping to go there with Peter, and she has also applied to Berkeley and NYU. Dan proposes to Trina, and the sisters are to be bridesmaids.
