Plot summary

Seven archaeologists come upon an old Inca mummy and fall under an Inca curse. Back in Europe they sleep one after another, and each day they wake together for a few minutes and see the living mummy Rascar Capac. The sixth is overcome when Incas throw a crystal ball into his car. Professor Tarragon, the last of them still awake, is staying at Marlinspike Hall with Tintin, Snowy and Captain Haddock. The Thompsons arrive at the hall, and Tarragon learns from them that he is the last conscious professor.
