Jacques Marin
Biography
Jacques Marin was a French actor who worked in both film and television. He was born in the 11th arrondissement of Paris in 1919 and died in 2001. Marin's fluency in English and his instantly recognizable features made him a familiar face in a number of major American and British productions. These productions included Charade (1963), The Train (1964) and Marathon Man (1976). In addition to those American and British films, he appeared in Disney movies, notably The Island at the Top of the World (1974) and Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo (1977). His ability to speak English and his distinctive appearance were the qualities that made him a recognizable presence in these English-language productions.
