Asterix and Caesar (1985) on Netflix

Plot summary

In Rome, Julius Caesar orders Caius Fatuous, who runs a leading gladiator school, to put on a grand show in his honor. In Gaul, Asterix notices that Obelix is acting strangely, and Getafix explains that Obelix has fallen for Panacea, the niece of Chief Vitalstatistix. Obelix is heartbroken when Panacea's true love, Tragicomix, a neighboring chieftain's son, arrives to see her. The two slip into the woods to be alone, and a Roman recruit ambushes and captures them. Asterix and Obelix, with Dogmatix, head for the nearest Legion headquarters to find out where.
