Plot summary
A baby's first laugh gives rise to Tinker Bell, and the winds carry her to Pixie Hollow on Neverland, where Queen Clarion welcomes her. Her talent is tinkering, the making and mending of things. Two fellow tinkers, Bobble and Clank, show her their craft and her new home. While they work, sprinting thistles, a menacing weed, strike the three. Tinker Bell meets Silvermist, a water fairy, Rosetta of the gardens, Iridessa of light, and Fawn, who tends animals, and hears about the fairies who travel to the mainland to bring each season. She wants to go for spring. Vidia, an ill-tempered fast-flying fairy, dislikes her and challenges her to prove she can go. Tinker Bell's inventions go wrong when she shows them to the Minister of Spring, and Queen Clarion tells her that only nature-talent fairies make the trip.
