Plot summary
Mark, a criminal attorney, takes Emma out to celebrate their anniversary and then drives her to the lake house they used to visit, giving her a steel necklace along the way. Emma has ended her affair with Tom, a partner in Mark's law firm. She wakes the next morning handcuffed to Mark, who has shot himself, and finds that he has destroyed her phone and taken anything sharp out of the house. Dragging his body with her, she searches for a way out and finds the SUV in the garage, its tank emptied. A recording on the car's audio tells her that Mark knew about Tom. A truck then arrives at the house.
