Plot summary
The cellar is home to Captain Katt, a devious cat, and to three blind mice dressed as musketeers. Captain Katt rigs the cellar with a number of traps, then goes to sleep. The mice emerge to hunt for food. They get past every trap he has prepared for them, and there is no sign that they know the traps are there. The mice are blind, and the three of them make their way through the cellar together. The short takes its mice from the nursery rhyme Three Blind Mice and its musketeers from the 1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas.
