Plot summary
The works of a clock tower in a city are due for a cleaning, and Mickey, Donald and Goofy take on the job as janitors. Mickey handles the face on the outside, mopping the dial while he rides on the second hand. Goofy is posted among the gears, brushing the teeth with a large toothbrush. Donald takes the mainspring, singing as he works, though signs around it warn him off. The mop catches, the spring flies loose, and he is trapped inside.

- In 1994, Donald Wildmon and the American Family Association successfully campaigned for Wal-Mart to stop selling the VHS tape Cartoon Classics: Fun on the Job!, which included Clock Cleaners, over two perceived vulgarities. Donald Duck's lines "Says who?" and "snake in the grass" were misheard by some listeners as "fuck you" and "son of a bitch".
