Plot summary

Valerie, Vicki and Lorna Craig are sisters whose wealthy father dies in a Wyoming plane crash, leaving $40 million to be divided among them. The pilot, Jim Norton, is unharmed but is grounded while investigators examine the wreck. Valerie offers Jim $200,000 to seduce and then abandon Lorna, who is the executor of the will and is engaged to George Gurney, the family's attorney. Jim finds Lorna at the top of a high cliff above the water, where Valerie has dared her to leap. Valerie tells Jim that if he refuses to cooperate, she will frame him for her father's murder.
