Plot summary
Jay reaches Pakistan with a stash of passports and, speaking only English, works his way into a house being readied for a wedding. He seizes the bride, Samira, and shoots an armed guard who intervenes. Then he lays out her options: return to her family and the marriage they have arranged, or travel with him to Lahore, where Deepesh, the boyfriend who hired him, waits. She picks Deepesh. Using false passports, the two cross into India and reach Amritsar, but Deepesh does not appear. Jay buys phones and SIM cards and gets through to him; Deepesh promises to come the next day.
