Plot summary
Janice Starlin runs a large cosmetics firm, and its sales slip once customers notice that she is getting older. Janice is troubled by the decline. A scientist, Eric Zinthrop, was dismissed by a honey farm over his experiments with wasps. He tells her that enzymes he extracted from queen wasp royal jelly can make aging skin look young. Janice agrees to fund more research at high cost, on one condition: she becomes his first human subject. Because his work is too slow for her, she lets herself into his lab after hours and gives herself additional doses of the serum.
