Plot summary
The story is set in America after the Civil War. John Breaker served in that war and later became a local sheriff. His son Cal is a Federal Marshal. Together they set out to serve an arrest warrant on Virgil St. Denis, a vigilante known as The Saint. St. Denis is a war veteran as well. Two rival gangs put the Breakers in the middle, and the dispute could reignite the Civil War.
