Plot summary
An old theater in Enola Penny's neighborhood stands empty. One night its door is open and she steps inside, where a puppet host named Peg Poett presents six stories of the bizarre. In the French Pyrenees, a witch crosses paths with an American anthropologist and his girlfriend. In Berlin, a man who follows and calls his partner learns she is leaving him. A husband tells his psychiatrist about recurring nightmares. A woman who cannot dream takes fluid from the eyes of the dying. On a mountain road, a mother answers her daughter's questions about life and death.
