Plot summary
Cody Martin takes an internship with Dr. Spaulding instead of the spring break he planned with his girlfriend Bailey Pickett, hoping it will win him a Yale scholarship. Bailey stops speaking to him, and when his twin brother Zack asks for the car their parents promised Cody for college, Cody refuses. Zack wrecks a submarine against the seawall, and Cody, trying to stop him, wrecks the equipment as well, so the program drops him. London Tipton eats a fruit meant for the dolphins and can understand them. Out of Dr. Spaulding's program, both brothers are recruited to the Gemini Project, run by Dr. Ronald Olsen, whose research examines the physical and emotional bonds between twins.
