Plot summary
Dr. Henry Jekyll suggests to his colleagues that a way might be found to divide the good and the evil in every human being and to remove the evil side, which he says would advance man's progress and survival. He has made a serum that he believes accomplishes this, and his peers reject the whole idea. Angered, Jekyll tries the untested serum on himself. It unleashes Edward Hyde, an immoral and depraved alter ego. Hyde makes his first appearance at the Windmill Music Hall, where he meets the dancing girl Gwyn Thomas.
