Plot summary
Four years after his wife Becca died of cancer, Karsh Relikh has built GraveTech, a modified shroud and tombstone that broadcast a live, interactive 3D image of a body as it decomposes. He intends to be buried beside Becca when he dies, and he keeps a close friendship with Terry, Becca's identical sister. He has not found new love since her death. One night, several tombstones in the GraveTech cemetery, Becca's among them, are destroyed, and hackers encrypt the network so the shrouds can no longer be viewed. Karsh sets out to track down whoever desecrated the graves and locked the system.
