Plot summary
Jack Robideaux, a former New Orleans police officer, arrives in Columbus, New Mexico with his pet rabbit and takes a job with the border patrol, where he works with Captain Ramona García. The patrol is up against a highly dangerous drug smuggling operation that funnels illegal immigrants and bricks of heroin across the Mexico-United States border. Migrants are randomly outfitted with C4 vests, so any agent who interferes might get blown up.
