Plot summary
Emma Leeden survives a home invasion that kills her husband and her two children. She writes a book about the attack and appears on a television talk show to discuss it. She and her manager then hire Sky Brown, a nineteen-year-old psychic who lives with her mother, Oda Brown, to hold a reading in Emma's house for social media content. Sky arrives with three friends, Jessie, Gregory and Randy. Emma agrees to the session because she does not believe that anyone can speak with the dead, and she treats the reading as publicity. Sky starts the reading and describes details about Emma's family that no one present could have known.
