Trailer

Plot summary

Retired colonel Edward W. Hall Sr. is glad to have his son back at a San Francisco Army post after two years held in a North Korean prison camp. He still grieves for his other son, Pete, and Pete's widow, Aggie Hall, finds it painful to be near her brother-in-law. At a welcome-home party, Colonel Dudley Smith learns that Hall's father does not know a court-martial awaits his son on a charge of helping the enemy. Asked whether the charge is true, Hall answers that it is. Major Sam Moulton prosecutes, and eyewitnesses tell of speeches and papers Hall gave the enemy while he was held.
