Plot summary
Penny Proud has been looking forward to her sixteenth birthday and to dancing in a group led by 15 Cent, Sticky's cousin. Oscar catches the two of them kissing, grounds her, and cancels the party. Oscar has also mixed a serum intended to make Proud Snacks taste better, but at his presentation the snack swells and bursts, and he is carried off shouting that his formula never expires. A man named Dr. Carver hears him; Carver has been building an army of humanoid peanuts and cannot keep his own formula stable. He invites the Proud family to Legume Island, and Trudy makes Oscar and Penny come along. There the family meets the G-nomes, small creatures made from peanuts, and Carver asks Oscar to hand over the formula.
