Trailer

Plot summary

To the friends and neighbors who know her in New York, Pippa Lee is a serene and devoted wife; her husband, Herb Lee, is a publisher thirty years her senior. When he announces that they are leaving the city for a retirement community in Connecticut, her composure begins to give way. She is the youngest child and only girl in a large Christian family, raised by a mother fixated on her looks. As a teenager she moves in with her aunt Trish and Trish's girlfriend Kat, and goes on to a bohemian life of drugs and dancing. A weekend with friends brings her Herb, a married publisher three decades older.
