Plot summary
Franck Adrien is serving a sentence for a bank robbery, and he is the only person who knows where the loot is hidden; he has told neither his wife nor his accomplice. His cellmate is Jean-Louis Maurel, released early when his accuser withdraws her rape charge. Then Manuel Carrega, who works for the National Gendarmerie, comes to see Adrien with a warning that Maurel is a serial killer and rapist and that Adrien's family is in danger. Adrien overpowers the Russian mobsters who ambush him and a corrupt guard, escapes wearing the guard's uniform, and goes looking for his family. Claire Linné, a police officer reassigned to capture him, begins the chase.
