Plot summary
During World War II, Professor Bergson, a scientist, has to get out of France with his family, and the French resistance asks a Basque shepherd to lead them over the Pyrenees to safety in neutral Spain. The Germans are after the professor. A group of soldiers under the SS officer Capt. Von Berkow is on the trail of the family and the shepherd.
