Plot summary
King Nuada and the Tuatha De Danann are oppressed by the Fomorian tribe, which is trying to retaliate for its land and freedom. Into this struggle comes Lugh, a warrior of Celtic myth, traveling through woodland on his way to Tara to join the king's court. On the road, the faerie Immrama draws him to a Beltane celebration, the night when the border between the human world and the fairy world grows thin. Lugh crosses into The Otherworld without knowing he has done it. There he and Immrama fall in love, and the two of them live in different times and different worlds.
