Plot summary
Megan, seventeen, and her friends are talked into a prank the night before Halloween, and it misfires: Beth, one of the group, ends up in a coma. The prank also lets something loose, a creature bound to the Curse of the Carver, and it hunts down the people who took part in the prank. The curse takes a life on the night before Halloween unless the person carrying it tricks somebody else into killing another person, and passing the curse along is the only way out. Megan and the others are brought back together a year later, with the curse still on them.
