Plot summary
In San Francisco, Mr. Wong keeps a shop in Chinatown and passes there as harmless. At night he hunts the Twelve Coins of Confucius, gold coins that together would give him rule over Keelat, a Chinese province. Eleven of the twelve coins are already in his hands, and a killing spree follows in Chinatown as he closes on the last one. The deaths are made out to be a Tong war. The Chinese Secret Service joins the hunt for the coins. Reporter Jason Barton and Peg, his girl, are on Wong's trail as well. Moonflower is Wong's niece, and Lusan attends her.
