Plot summary
A passenger plane has come down high on Mont Blanc, in the French Alps. Christopher Teller, known as Chris, sees the wreck as an opportunity to rob the dead. He has no hope of reaching the crash site without his older brother Zachary, a highly skilled climber. Zachary would rather let the dead rest and wants no part in the plan. Chris keeps pressing him, and Zachary finally gives in. The two brothers make their way up the mountain together, one set on what he hopes to take from the crash, the other reluctant about the purpose of the climb.
