Plot summary

Noon is a gunman who develops amnesia after an attempt on his life, and he does not know who he is. Rimes, a dangerous outlaw, befriends him and becomes his companion. The two men try to find out who Noon is and what he did before the shooting. A scheming judge, Niland, and Peg Cullane work against Noon and Rimes, while Fan Davidge, a woman in danger, supports them.
