Plot summary
Junior Jackson is a restless young man and an outstanding driver. His father makes moonshine for a living, and when he is arrested and sent to prison for a year, the family's support falls to Junior. Hackel owns the local racetrack and promotes a demolition derby, and Junior enters it hoping to take the prize money. Hackel is a cheapskate, yet Junior's driving and his attitude impress him enough to let Junior into a stock-car undercard race the following week.
