Plot summary
Roland is building a racing car of his own when it blows up on test. His friend Manu, a stunt pilot, loses his license after a joke at his expense, and Laetitia, a young artist, sees not one piece sell at her first exhibition. The jokesters then tell the two men about a plane that came down in the sea off the African coast, said to be stuffed with riches. With little money left, the three pool what remains and set out for the wreck. Laetitia, who treats the pair like brothers and hopes to buy an old fort where the Charente meets the sea, goes with them.
