Plot summary
Walter Day is the founder of Twin Galaxies, an organization that tracks high scores in arcade games. Billy Mitchell, a restaurateur, holds the Donkey Kong record. In Redmond, Washington, Steve Wiebe is out of work and buys a Donkey Kong cabinet. He uses mathematics to find patterns in the game. In 2003 he achieves a new record of 947,200 points. He sends a tape of his play to Twin Galaxies as evidence.
