Plot summary
The Abernathy children have grown estranged from their billionaire father, Charles. As his seventy-fifth birthday approaches, he summons the four of them back to the family estate. Miles, his head of security, escorts twins C.J. and Madeline, Drew and Drew's wife Hannah, and the youngest, Kami, in to see him. Charles tells them that something will kill him at midnight, and he has ordered his guards to leave him unguarded, so the family must watch over him. He promises an equal share of the fortune to each if he survives the night. New security systems have been installed, and the estate's doors have been sealed. Charles asks Hannah to go, and she stays.
