Plot summary
Max grew up in foster care and works as a graffiti artist. After an arrest for vandalism, his foster father arranges community service instead of a criminal record, and Max moves into a retirement home run by Dr. Sabian to serve as superintendent. Juno and Les, who work there, warn him not to go up to the fourth floor. He befriends residents and notices odd incidents around the building, including residents entering his room at night. Screams come from the fourth floor.
