Plot summary

In August 1968, Sharon Tate tells a journalist about a nightmare in which she and Jay Sebring are attacked with knives. A year later, pregnant and back from six months in Europe, she is reunited with Jay, Abigail Folger and Wojciech Frykowski. Her husband, Roman Polanski, stays in Europe to finish a script but promises to be home for the birth. Sharon tells Jay she believes Roman is having an affair. Steven Parent, a caretaker, has moved into a trailer on the grounds without her knowing, and she asks what became of William Garretson. Wojciech answers a knock from Charles Manson, who asks for Terry Melcher, the music producer who used to own the house. On a walk with Abigail, Sharon meets two strange women and finds her dog dead beside the trail.
